So folks, on the 15th of July we went to Sound Supreme studio in Hämeenlinna to kick some ass recording wise. We were supposed to meet with Epe in front of our training facilities at about 08.30 am and start to carry our stuff to the car. Luckily Epe was there a bit earlier because Jussi appeared there also. Completely hammered of course which is quite unusual for Jussi since he normally doesn't drink that much really. He hadn't slept at all because he was a guest at his fellow musketeer-actor's summer theater premiere the night before. But that was just a great thing and seeing him in that state of mind made me very happy even though he was already sleeping at the time I arrived at the scene. It always warms my mind to see Jussi like that because it's a rare treat. If that was me or Epe there wouldn't be anything unusual about it.

Anyway we finally arrived at the studio in time and the usual stuff of putting everything in their place started immediately. We didn't have too much time to lay down the tracks so it kind of felt that we were in a bit of hurry all the time. I think that had some effect to the recording but all in all everything went well. Since this session was mostly about drum and bass tracks we naturally concentrated to nail them properly. We played live with Mika and Epe and I think that I nailed some basic guitar tracks in the process also. Epe had had quite a rough week work wise and maybe because of that he had to fight a bit to get the drums down but in the end he got them. Mika did good work with bass parts and today I'm going to record the rest of the guitars as well. Even Jussi managed to arrive to the studio at one point and he did some demo-keyboard stuff to help us record one song. Even though he was still way too smashed to get them anywhere near right. Anyway that doesn't matter because we have Mika to do the final versions. Bujaa!
